Learn to weave these versatile medallions. I, personally, couldn't stop making them! I love playing with colors.
You could do SO many things with these medallions! You could put on a purchased bail and use as a pendant, or bead your own bail. You could add fabric to the back and make a brooch. I intend to tack one down on fabric for a cuff.
You can leave the center out and have an open ring of beadwork. I initially used a 14mm rivoli in the center, but they didn't quite work out for instructions, so I went with a chaton. You could leave the center void of a crystal and embroider a vintage cabochon and then tack the open ring medallion around it for an embroidery. The rings are identical on both sides when finished. You could just have an open ring. So many ideas :)
These measure 2" arcoss.
I have made a few kits of these, you can find them on my KITS page. I plan on making more.
I would LOVE to see what all you do with these! Email me photos: firstname.lastname@example.org or tag me on Facebook!
