This piece was named 'Quibilah', which is an Egyptian
name meaning peaceful.  Because I have used a
Vintage scarab, I thought an Egyptian name would be
appropriate.

The teardrop cabochon is called 'Sea Sediment' and
the chatons are Olivine Glacier Blue. I wanted this
bead embroidery to be full of texture, as I do with
most my pieces, so when I did the edging, I though
the side 'strappings' would work nicely.

The fringe on the pendant is a mix of seed beads and
bugle beads and tipped with Czech fire polish crystals
in green with an AB finish and Czech glass pressed
leaves in olive.

The pendant measures 7" from the tab top to the tip
and measures 2 1/2" at the widest point.

The rope is a nice strength and is woven with 3 bead
sizes and 2 different color fire polish crystals. The
predominant seed bead color in the piece is called
'Polychrome Topaz'...love it! The rope measures a
healthy 27" with a crystal toggle and beaded 'ring'
closure.

For those of you thinking it may be heavy, it is 2oz or
58 grams.
