Manja is a girl's name in Sanskrit meaning 'cluster of
blossoms'. This piece was made with many many grams of
black #11 Japanese beads. Embellishing beads include:
Czech glass pearls in light gray and dark gray, long
magatama beads, square fuchsia sequins, Fuchsia and
Comet Swarovski crystals, silver-lined, gunmetal and fuchsia
seed beads, Czech black pressed glass and black fire polish
crystals. The 'blossoms' are my Mum's The Word pattern
with 14mm and 18mm rivolis. The pendant is a Jet
Swarovski crystal wrapped in Delica beads. This was all
woven on a base of diagonal peyote all in black Japanese
seed beads. The closure is a wrapped rivoli with a hook
closure underneath to connect to a small loop on the
opposite side.  The width of the necklace is approx 2" and
the front pendant area is 3". It measures between 16" - 17"
in length.
